What it does

Updates a pirate record that’s already approved. Typical cases: the player renamed their character, or moved to a new account tag.

Form fields

• Current account — must match exactly what’s in the list (e.g., SomeUser#12345).
• New in-game nickname — optional; leave empty to keep the current one.
• New account — optional; must be Name#12345. If the new value already exists on another pirate, it’s rejected.

Rules & feedback

• Moderator-only.
• You must change at least one thing (nickname or account).
• On success you’ll see “✅ Pirate updated.” (ephemeral) and the public list refreshes.
• A short mod-log entry is posted for audit (“✏️ Edited pirate …”).
